I doubt whether the reason for deleting that scene has something to do with MPJ 's assumption (that it could be too heartbreaking)  but of course I can't judge  :s) Maybe the film makers had just objective reasons for the delete. As for me, this scene would have been another agonizing detail  (and therefore I would have loved to see it in the movie !!!!). I can't get enough of that pain, it hurts so deep ...  no need to tell me I'm crazy  :-\\



I would not be able to express my thoughts and feelengs better... I can't get enough of that pain  :_(

The trailer shows some scenes which were not in the movie when I saw it...and I have seen it umpteen times .. 3 scenes to be precise.. 1. Jack standing on the bridge over the river, shirtless 2. Jack & Ennis in a pick-up(?) sitting next to each other 3. One guy and another younger guy (probably) looking at something far away... can someone please tell me if these scenes have been deleted in the actual movie?

Yes, indeed the trailer included scenes that were deleted from the movie.

After all these years, still finding treasures in this place. Thanks Izara, for bring this gem to my attention.

I agree with you all. Of all the deleted scenes, this one ought to have stayed in the movie. Pure Heath.

We all fans should make a change.org picking up signatures, in order to get our beloved deleted scenes, I'm just curious how much signatures would be picked up  ::) too many fans around the world wanting to see that!  &**) &**)

I don't want to rain on your parade but it was done before and all Ang Lee movies are final cuts with no deleted scenes available but this one that probably ''escaped'' the editing room...

I had never seen that little clip of Ennis with the shirts. I wish that would have been in the movie. That is intense.
