I started my day off in tears. They were talking on the radio about his apt being up for rent and I listened for a few moments but didn't like the convo (it wasn't bad- just hard to hear) so I switched it off.  I know, for sure now, that I am not ready for BBM. Even though I feel that disconnect with the boys right now, I know it will kill me. I got into bed and A Knights Tale was on- the last time i watched it was 3 days before.... Anyway I said I like this movie (mind you I should have been sleeping- it was midnight) and it's not sad so I'll watch it. Um no I made it a few minutes and I started to cry so I switched over to AMC and LOTR Return of the king was on- so I tried to get lost in Middle Earth for a bit, but it was the last hour and that part makes me cry so basically I was laying in bed crying, ROTK ended and that song (Into the west) came on- more tears so I flipped back to A Knights Tale and lowered the volume and cried myself to sleep.

beautiful poem Carol.  :ghug:

Danny and me, Danny and me,  Danny and me and the sea,
Bobbing out of Pleasure Bay, the islands on our lee;
Spectacle, Georges, Gallops, the sun-wash on the brine
Castle Island where Skovo danced a bear-dance in bear-time.
The Golden Boy has chosen, I know what I will be
Danny and me, seanchai, Danny and me and the sea.

hey guys!

I'm posting this on cowgirl's ( aka Katie's ) behalf. She already mentioned painting this ( starting it before Heath passed, and finishing it afterwards ) and the painting getting published in STAR magazine. I offered to post it for her since she still doesn't know her way around posting pictures and such technicalities.

Time To Say Goodbye

OMG This is such a fitting way to say goodby. Beautiful, just beautiful. I am in tears.
There was some open space between what he knew and what he tried to believe, but nothing could be done about it, and if you can't fix it you've got to stand it.

Ennis, riding against the wind back to the sheep in the treacherous, drunken darken light, thought he'd never had such a good time, felt he could paw the white out of the moon.

Thanks for that, HPV  :ghug: I really hope he knew the impact he made while he was still with us. I like to think (and most of me believes) he did but sometimes it upsets me that maybe he didn't.

Yes,of course he did.And if maybe he had some doubt in live,I'm sure he's now looking at all the sadness his departure has brought, wherever he's.And he's sad but happy at the same time by seeing how much love he has carried with him. There's a little tribute to show the way all we feel-if someone has already posted it,forgive me;but it doesn't matter, two times missed is better than once...-. :\'(

Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.

Jack smiled sad. “Yeah, Ennis. Love.” Leaned forward and kissed Ennis’s temple, whispered, “What’d you think it was, all this time?”

 :ghug:  :ghug: everyone.

I agree mpj, better to share these things than to worry about overposting. It's been comforting, even while I cry, to see the videos and poems, and just to read your thoughts and feelings, over the last few weeks. It's a true celebration both of Heath and of our ties here.

I found this poem written by a poster over at imdb and just wanted to share it here. By CrowBat2005. Whoever you are, it's a beautiful poem that expresses what I'm sure a lot of us are feeling.

The Thought of You

It hurts as much as the first time
It feels like the first day
Each and every thought of you
Makes my smiles turn to dismay

Your name, your face, your voice,
Used to sweep me off my feet
Now each and every thought of you
Brings me to my knees

I shake it from my mind
So positive thoughts can surface
It was an honor for the earth to bear you
Your life had its own purpose

You had love and care
Which you both gave and received
Humble, quiet, friendly
Such beauty is hard to believe

Suddenly, true words fill my mind
I feel the emptiness of my heart
And once again the thought of you
Makes me feel the earth's mourning of such an art

When your absence slips my mind
I live in blissful ignorance
Then the very thought of you
Shoots reality into existence
For a moment in our lives. Forever in our hearts.

"They were respectful of each other’s opinions, each glad to have a companion where none had been expected." ~ BBM Short Story

There are three ways to ultimate success:
The first way is to be kind. The second way is to be kind. The third way is to be kind. (Mister Rogers)

I'd die for you
I'd cry for you
I'd do anything
I'd lie for you
You know it's true
Baby I'd die for you
I'd die for you
I'd cry for you
If it came right down to me and you
You know it's true, baby I'd die for you
