Title: Ennis & Cassie - *spoiler*
Post by: ethan on Feb 03, 2006, 11:49 PM
Had my 6th viewing tonight. One scene struck me where Cassie asked Ennis to massage her feet and Ennis just did.

Has anythone thought of this? I thought it was kinda out of Ennis's characters. Perhaps he tried to be a gentleman and the macho guy and just to please Cassie because she gave Ennis the attention?

Why out of character...he has really tender moments with Jack?!
And with Alma too, remember the scene where they play in the snow?

I think that Cassie really tried her luck there, thinking "well if he refuses then I don't have a chance!" ...then again that's my POV (a woman's one ;D who's probably tried a few tricks like this one to see if a guy was interested!)

I think she did it on purpose because she was unable to read him in other methods. She used a woman's perogative, that's fer sure.

I guess so.. She is trying to crack into Ennis' tough shell...

Look at how Ennis dance... Like a piece of wood rocking side to side! :D

Cassie is a social butterfly so I am not surprised that she found a new man who "talks".
But what I don't understand is why she cried even though she had a backup.
A woman's thing I guess..  :-\
