Hopefully there will be some sales number available. I think it will be very impressive. Think of those who didn't want to go to the theatres and see the movie.

wow. thanks for the update. Is it good or bad? I take it as a great news.
-
I think that's big news. King Kong sold 6 million copies in its first week. If BBM sells half that, executives at Focus & Universal will be very, very happy.

Thanks glacier1. Not too shabby for a movie about two guys who fall in love.
If you add up all the numbers and divide by 9, NARNIA gets a 3.11 and Broakback gets a 3.22. Pretty close.
-
thanks for the updates..I am glad its doing well :) yeah

I still want to know how many copies has sold since it's first day of release, please post the info here!

I did notice that other movie isn't even on the charts. ;D
-
While up in the city centre today I went and checked out how our boys are doing in the sales charts in the two main UK record shop chains - good news, number 1 in Virgin and number 3 in HMV. I got a nice warm feeling when I saw all those DVDs sitting up at the top of the charts :D
Oh, and about that "other movie" (which, incidentally, I quite enjoyed - does that make me a bad person? ;))....it's already in the "3 for £20" sale in Virgin!!! How the mighty have fallen ;D
-
Wonderful news. Thanks for the update, NoReins. Hope it stays strong and long.

From the looks of the sales and rentals of that "other movie", it appears we weren't the only ones to be disappointed on Oscar night.

I haven't got any numbers but I was in Tesco and nearly all the BBM dvds were gone! A woman picked one up while I was there, I nearly started chatting about it to her but I got scared! Before I went I tided up the rest of the dvds and made them look neat! Karl said 'god you're obsessed'. Hehehe ;D
