I have been doing these google searches of Brokbeack since early in August.. I have always been a Jake fan and I found out about this movie early in the summer.. I had to wait this long and I had no idea it would have been this successful! But yes, so since the summer I have been searching google for news on BBM! haha

This little quote from your article is quite the phenomena regarding the number of people and its impact on today's culture
1. Brokeback (Brokeback Mountain)
– A cultural phenomenon (Brokeback, Brokedown, etc.)
with almost a million references to Brokeback jokes alone on Google.
Overall there are some 30 million references
though only 10 million saw the movie.
the funny thing is it says that only 10 millions peoples saw the movie, the revenues are 126 millions

Gee, I wonder why ;)
It was used to reference importance twice in march issue of Empire magazine, only remember one tho, it was used by someone to tal kabout the impact of the shawshank redemption as the topp 201 films as voted for by the empire readers. The cast and producer and director aof that film were talking about it and how thay were surprised at how it had affected people and compared it to BBM.
I am going to see if I can find the correct quote :)
