I had'nt notced this , but I'll watch the movie agin tonight and check this out for sure. Jack sure did get an eyefull with ennis crawing around on his hands and knees. So did I. I did notice how Jack seems to sober up right quick quick when Ennis asks for a blanket. I also notice Jack is pretty steady on his feet and he prit near runs to the tent to get the blanket.... which leads me to believe he ain't as drunk as Ennis.
the "freeze your ass off when the fire dies down' reminds me of that first night Ennis is gonna go sleep with the sheep. Jack slinks over smoking that cig with those bedrooms eyes looking directly at Ennis's eyes saying huskily: "You won't get much sleep, I'll tell you thayt' You know he trying to get Ennis to stay in camp. This is interesting aintfoolin, you know I never put 2+2 together regarding Jack's fumble with the can opener with Ennis stripping down right there. I remember reading somewhere that this fumble was actually just a complete accident on the set, it wasn't supposed to happen. But Jack and Heath just took it as it came and played right into the action. Maybe Jake was a little distracted! I'm sure they all got a big hoot about it afterwards!
