I am blown away by this article it truly boggles my mind that such a town would favor the killing of a gay person to be accepteable in a movie but apalling to view 2 cowboy in love

It sounds like the theater owner just chickened out thinking that there would be a backlash to his business if there was a lot of local protest.... I don't think the article said it was banned, but rather they chose not to "offend" locals.
