Which show? 

If I were to invite both of them out with Alma and Lureen, I would take them to a dance hall or a supper club and watch them exchange glances from across the table.  I am sure it would be more subtle than the ones exchanged betwen Randall and Jack...

 

  I just picture this ,Alma, Jack, Ennis and Lureen all sitting around a table together. Who would be glancing at who? Ennis, I'm sure would have that cowboy hat a little lower on his eyes, and  shifting nervously in his seat, and poor Jack? Jack is left to fend for himself, at which within minutes ,Jack will have successfully charmed both women out of their high heeled shoes. ...   very interesting.

Yes,a disaster and,even and if we're a little mischievious ,fairly hilarious.But I don't know if the biggest fight would be between the two women; I have always thought that Alma would begin to remark what Ennis liked most-everywhere...-as a way to say Jack "You can't give him this..."; then Jack would reply maybe biterly and the 3rd World War would begin ¡.

You might be right, MPJ.  Given what Alma saw and knew, it would probably begin this way...   She probably might even become confrontational in the presence of Jack.
