Yup, the trailers are to found there, though in lower resolution; the links point directly to higher quality versions.
1) Type "Brokeback Mountain" in the field left of the button 'Rechercher' at the middle-top of the fnac dot com main page
2) Click 'Rechercher'
3) Click on the first BBM hit (Le Secret de Brokeback Mountain - Edition Simple)
4) Go down for 'Vidéo et son' & voilà: bande-annonce x 2!
There's a 'commercial' for 10 seconds before the trailer starts.
The French-French trailer is the very same as brought up by you and discussed here before.
I think that the French-English trailer is just an intermediate while they were making the French-French trailer, nothing more.
Thanks, rdx, for your very clear instructions. By following them, I was able to open and play the trailer. And yes, as far as I can see, it is identical with the version I posted earlier. In passing, I note that both the English and French versions retain the shot of a shirtless Jack - but, of course, wearing his black cowboy hat - standing on that plank bridge. This isn't seen in the movie. I wonder why they kept it - though I think I can guess. And which deleted scene does it come from?
If you've got a spare moment, rdx, you might return to the Brokeback section of fnac and take a look at the fourth item listed there. It says it's a two disk VIP Combo Blu-Ray edition which became available on the 29th Sept, 2010. I wonder what it is. Do you think it's something new or is it a reissue in blu-ray format of the Collector's edition from a couple of year ago. I have a blu-ray version of the movie but it's only a single disc. If there's new stuff on this one, I'd love to get hold of it. I've had a look at a couple of major online stores here in North America but can find nothing about a two volume Blu-ray edition of Brokeback.
