Jerasjr--you found the right poem---it's all there.  None of my so-called friends are any help, right now, here in Norfolk.  Am unable to think
very well.  Always kept it to myself, in this forum, I had the greatest sense Heath was someone more than what was showing, and he meant
a great deal to me, not as a celeb. or for BBM, but for himself.  Felt that way ever since I saw the interview with him on the DVD--saw there
a person searching to find himself, and very much in need of reassurance and being appreciated for who he was, aside from his career.
Am almost to the point of bitterness, because he should have known, he was loved for himself by so very many.  This is a hurting that isn't going
to go away for a long, long time.  This is just the first few hours of grieving.  Everybody else, hurting so bad, keep the faith.  We will never
forget him.

I must go home and have silence.  My surroundings appear pitch black for me right now.

Who knows the depths of sadness of the heart?

What can one make of it, except to recall the words of the Poet:

Come, said my soul,
Such verses for my body let us write, (for we are one),
That should i after death invisibly return,
Or, long, long hence, in other spheres,
There to some group of mates the chants resuming,
(tallying earth's soil, trees, winds, tumultuous waves,)
Ever with pleas'd smile i may keep on,
Ever and ever yet the verses owning--as, first, i here and now,
Signing for soul and body, set to them my name

Look what he created in Ennis, look how the movie changed things, look what he left us.

And now we've lost him, and learnt that with the same shock that he read of Jack's death.

"No man is an island, entire of itself. Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind. And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee."

And tonight for Heath.

i just turned on my computer i am shocked.
my thoughts are with his family.
if time were not a moving thing if i could make it stay this hour of love we share would allways be
there would be no coming days to shine a morning  light make us realise our night is over.

I had gone to bed, but a thought managed to forme in my head while I was in bed and I just have to say it

Ennis is still alive at the end of the film and will forever be in our hearts. Heath has passed away but will also stay in our hearts forever. And it is partly because of Heath that we are all here, that we have become friends, that we can meet and hug and laugh and be happy, that we can find solace in harsh and difficult times. So I am beginning to feel a sense of joy. A gratitute towards Heath, that will always be with me.

I don't think I was so into the "person" Heath Ledger, so much as the Ennis he was to all of us.  I still can't get my mind around his not being here anymore.  So many feelings are whirling around in my head; I don't think I've felt a loss like this since John Kennedy was shot.  Emptiness. Like part of me died.  At least we have each other--Brokies--to voice our tragedy without being laughed at.  GODDAM!!!!

I watched BBM for the upteenth time last night, I made my daily visit to the forum this morning, and tonight, well,  I feel this pain, but can't cry.   I wish I could cry,  maybe this pain would go away, and leave me be.

I looked up in IMDB.com they already added the death date there...

http://imdb.com/name/nm0005132/

Date of Birth: 4 April 1979, Perth, Western Australia, Australia
Date of Death: 22 January 2008, Manhattan, New York, USA

Still can't believe it!
It's near 3am and I can't sleep either...its just to hard to digest ...!!!!! :\'( :\'( :\'(

I haven't posted on this forum for many months, but BBM is and always will be in my heart, in part because Ennis reminds me so much of someone who also yearned for love, yet could not allow himself to have it...my brother.  The coroner called to tell me he was dead, a suicide from an overdose of pills, on January 22, 1999.  This is truly a terrible day.

RIP Heath, thank you so much.  You will live forever.
