Sometimes I miss you so much I can hardly stand it...

Keren, you´re not alone in having this feeling...  :ghug:  :ghug:  :ghug:
Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.

Jack smiled sad. “Yeah, Ennis. Love.” Leaned forward and kissed Ennis’s temple, whispered, “What’d you think it was, all this time?”

:ghug: :ghug: :ghug:
Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.
Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead,
Put crêpe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.
He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last for ever: I was wrong.
The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood.
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

 :ghug: :ghug: :ghug:
"What Jack remembered and craved in a way he could neither help nor understand was the time that distant summer on Brokeback when Ennis had come up behind him and pulled him close, the silent embrace satisfying some shared and sexless hunger."

Grateful Traveler

Remember me, with a smile not sorrow.
My time here on earth was brief,
but oh how much I lived.
I filled each day with purpose
and tried my best to give
a little piece of who I am
to everyone I knew.
And I found in doing so
the love inside me grew.

But a body has its limits and now I need to rest.
My spirit lives forever though and I have been truly blessed.
I left my mark upon the world and in my little girl.
And what more could I ask of life
than to let me be true to myself,
and when it was my time to go
be proud of who I was?
So bid me not to stay, now that my work here is done.
Let me fly free and in remembering me
Share in my journey as I shared in yours.
I am a grateful traveler.
I was only passing through.
But if you keep me in your heart,
I will always live in you.

 :\'(  :\'(  :\'(  :\'(  :\'(  :\'(  :\'(  :\'(  :\'(  :\'(  :\'( You got me deeply moved here, Barb. I don't know what to say. Bad day, beautiful delicate poem of yours and tears, tears, tears.  :\'(  :\'(  :\'(  :\'(  :\'(  :\'(  :\'(  :\'(  :\'(  :\'(  :\'(

Thank you...

Tell Me Its Not True

Tell me it's not true
Say it's just a story
Something on the news
Tell me it's not true
Though it's here before me
Say it's just a dream
Say it's just a scene
From an old movie of years ago
From an old movie of Marilyn Monroe

Say it's just some clowns
Two players in the limelight
And bring the curtain down
Say it's just two clowns
Who couldn't get their lines right
Say it's just a show
On the radio
That we can turn over and start again
That we can turn over; it's only a game

Tell me it's not true
Say I only dreamed it
And morning will come soon
Tell me it's not true
Say you didn't mean it
Say it's just pretend
Say it's just the end
Of an old movie from years ago
From an old movie with Marilyn Monroe

Tell me it's not true
Say you didn't mean it
Say it's just pretend
Say it's just the end
Of an old movie from years ago

Hey everyone,
I was just feeling a little sad this past week knowing that Heath's birthday was coming up so me and a friend of mine decided that April 4th we are taking her little cousins to Disney World. This might sound kind of strange, but I really worry that some of us Brokies might just sit around on the 4th feeling depressed, and I don't believe that honors anyone; certainly not a fun and wonderful free spirit as our Heath. So I wish everyone the strength and desire to do something happy and meaningful that day; actually, I wish that for all of us everyday :)

Every night I dream about him
In my world of fantasy
I pretend that we're together
In his world there's a garden in the moonlight
In his world there's a sweet and gentle breeze
In his world, oh he tells me that he loves me
That's where my heart wants to be

I saw a star falls from the heaven
I hope the wish I made comes true
I don't want to live without him
In his world I can see a new tomorrow
In his world where he gives his heart to me
In his world we will share this love together
That's where my heart wants to be

Why must I go on pretending
Why can't I tell him how I feel
These sweet dreams are never ending
And this loneliness is real...
As the moon lingers a moment over the bitterroots, before its descent into the invisible, my mind is filled with song. I find I am humming softly, not to the music, but something else, some place else, a place remembered; a field of grass where no one seemed to have been except a deer, and the memory is strengthened by the feeling of you, dancing in my awkward arms.............

My old friend
Tim MacGraw

My old friend, I recall
The times we had hanging on my wall
I wouldn't trade them for gold
Cause they laugh and they cry me
Somehow sanctify me
Their woven in the stories I have told
And tell again

My old friend, I apologize
For the years that have passed
Since the last time you and I
Dusted off those memories
But the running and the races
The people and the places
There's always somewhere else I had to be
Time gets slim, my old friend

Don't know why, don't know why
Don't know why, don't know why

My old friend, this song's for you
Cause a few a few simple verses
Was the least that I could do
To tell the world that you were here
Cause the love and the laughter
Will live long after
All of the sadness and the tears
We'll meet again, my old friend

Goodbye, goodbye
Goodbye, goodbye

My old friend, my old friend
Goodbye, goodbye
As the moon lingers a moment over the bitterroots, before its descent into the invisible, my mind is filled with song. I find I am humming softly, not to the music, but something else, some place else, a place remembered; a field of grass where no one seemed to have been except a deer, and the memory is strengthened by the feeling of you, dancing in my awkward arms.............

Beautiful poems,Mikele; thanks for sharing them with us in such a sad time. :ghug:  :ghug:
Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.

Jack smiled sad. “Yeah, Ennis. Love.” Leaned forward and kissed Ennis’s temple, whispered, “What’d you think it was, all this time?”

This just popped into my head and I had to write it down...This is a poem tribute to Heath and his daughter...you can get who would've said what part   :-\\

Good morning, my beautiful sunshine
How you always seem to cross my mind
I see you everyday, smiling from ear to ear
How I need your calming voice to hear

Good night, sleep tight
Don't let this be the last time I see you, tonight
I see you in my dreams
And my in my fondest memories
Daddy, you ment the world to me

In his world we will share this love together
That's where my heart wants to be

Why must I go on pretending
Why can't I tell him how I feel
These sweet dreams are never ending
And this loneliness is real...

lis thats beautiful it just reminded me of something my mother used to sing to me when i was a a toddler im sure many of you will have heard it before

you are my sunshine my only sunshine,
you make me happy,
when skys are grey,
you'll never know dear,
how much i love you,
plese dont take my sinshine away,
the other night dear when i lay dreaming,
i dreamt you lay hear right by my side,
you'll never know dear how much i love you,
please dont take my sunshine away.

not everything in that rhyme applies to my point of view but im sure how its alot of you feel  :ghug:
