I'm on my way to an Oscar Night party in San Francisco.

I will be wearing my Heath Ledger shirt, and I made the insciption from the memorial into a name tag.

Excellent!  This is just the best that you are all being so fantastically loving and supportive of tonight.  Heath was a lucky man to have such fans!

Why do I discover how much I love Heath only after he's gone? It's been a year since he died and only now am I mourning for him, because only recently have I watched BBM and have never got a chance to see any of his films before except the dark knight.

The tears were uncontrollable when watching the Oscars today. :\'(

I love the quiet beauty of our pix with poems page, my refuge, I'd never written poetry 'till BBM, but I hope no one minds if I slip one in here.

Rest in love deep in my heart.
The wake of your spirit
washes over days
and sunsets are richer, dawns nearer.
Deep in my heart,
part of my soul,
your spirit ripples.
I'm like one tiny insignificant star,
where your wonder shines on.
One of many,
one of the least, tiniest of all,
here with my fingers,
there with my voice,
deep in my heart
your legend goes on.

Ethan, that video is stunning. A beautiful, fitting tribute to the man who, more than any other I think, is the reason we're all here in this place.

And I'm in tears again :\'( :\'(
He will be eternally missed, but he will never be forgotten

Christopher Nolan, accepting the Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe on Heath's behalf.

He was, as an actor and a professional and a human being, one of a kind

Charles Roven, accepting Heath's BAFTA.

This award tonight would have humbly validated Heath's quiet determination to be truly accepted by you all here — his peers within an industry he so loved.

Kim Ledger, accepting Heath's Oscar.

My god, Ethan, I am stunned...  You are so beautiful to have made this.  I love everything about it, and all the details of your editing.  The voiceover of Sally (or is it Kate?) -- I love how you did that.  I lost it, though, after the segment of all the clips announcing Heath the winner of all the awards...to then see him get up out of the audience and go up on the stage and read the acceptance speech -- I had to just stop it there, wait for tears to pass so I could see again...

I love all the close-ups you chose.  What especially got to me was beautiful Casanova looking up in wonder at the fireworks.  And I love, love how you finished it.  "As long as we can ride it."

Bless you, bless Heath, bless us all.

So beautiful, my friend.  This touched me very deeply.  The tears I shed watching it were just like the ones I shed yesterday during Heath's win - both happy and sad.

Thank you so much, Ethan.

I loved it so much, I sent this out to my 200+ YouTube Heath fan friends.  I hope you don't mind...I just felt that all who love Heath should see this lovely tribute.

:ghug: to all of you. Thank you for your comments here and at YouTube.

Laura - no I don't mind at all. Thank you for doing that. We have a lost a true talent and this video is only my humble tribute for what he has accomplished and what he had given us.

The voiceover of Sally (or is it Kate?) -- I love how you did that.  I lost it, though, after the segment of all the clips announcing Heath the winner of all the awards...to then see him get up out of the audience and go up on the stage and read the acceptance speech

Kathy - thank you and :ghug: The voices are Heath's sisters, Christopher Nolan, Gary Oldman, Sally Bell, Heath's interview with Charlie Rose.

I kept thinking what he would do or say if he were here to accept the awards. It must have been very tiring to make acceptance speech for all these award shows. I saw a clip of "Access Hollywood" yesterday when the host asked the father right after the Oscar what Heath would say. His father's response is "Glad it is you doing it, not me."

I like how he just looked up when he was on the stage.

Thank you so much,Ethan ¡ You have done such a wonderful job that it's just as great as our Heath deserves¡.Even if I must confess that I haven't seen it until the end, still not now... :\'(
Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.

Jack smiled sad. “Yeah, Ennis. Love.” Leaned forward and kissed Ennis’s temple, whispered, “What’d you think it was, all this time?”
