Thomas...Ennis has that statue by a long shot.  I got a pic from here or DC w/ Ennis geting ready to jump off the cliff.  Showed right to where you wanted to keep peeking (real low).  I think it was the cropped version of the paparazzi's shot.

OT: If all this is up to us, yes.  But alas, certain legal obligations prevalent online tell us that prudence is necessary -- especially with the younger members of the forum who have parents or guardians who might not want them to enjoy art.  ;)

Thanks atalley.  :)  It probably was.   I think I know this picture, and it is a pap shot.

Sorry for pushing the topic off course!  IN any case, I do agree that Ennis's posture in the scene by the hilside is very cute and sexy...

I watched the happy part of the DVD again recently - and I remembered another cute Ennis scene!  I just love when he ventures out of the pup tent the morning of the snow and he does his little dance - galloping around with the blanket clutched close around him.  Too adorable!  <^(

Yes, this scene was exquisite.  It was like an awkward dance in the midst of all that cold beauty.

For me, Ennis was cutest and sexiest in the scenes he was relaxed and they are very few of them. But one for sure is reunion kiss, from the moment he saw Jack through the window, until he unwillingly separated from Jack. He was adorable there... mmmmmm!  :d)

Motel room also... so relaxed, so in love  :P

He really was like an excited kid in this scene.  That's what made it look so cute.

oh ya....I loved to see him so happy and elated..made me happy..yehhh..
I think the excitement of seeing some one u love for 4 years is something huge and Ennis and Jack felt complete again after 4 years..what a joy  :)

ya it was supressed for so long and finally his love was in front of him...What a joy and ofcouse Ennis was the happiest ..I think those were one the few moments in his life where he was just himself...What a joy when u r just yourself and doing what u really wana do...

Oh, yes! But, sadly, he did that too rarely. Only 4 years of emptiness and loneliness, 4 years of craving for his little darling, made Ennis so recklessly passionate as we saw in the reunion kiss.

I agree....It was repressed for 4 long long years and it all came out like a burning passion...We have hardly seen this joy on Ennis's and Jack's face....The joy that could be brought only by the presence of the other..But Alas, that was so dam rare...Jack was the one to make the initiative even if it was after 4 years..I dont think that Ennis would have initiated this..What do u think ?

It was such a joy to see him so happy then that we forget all about Alma's pain.  In spite of the latter, the overwhelming feeling we get out of this scene is a cuteness and sexiness beyond words.

I'm with you here. Ennis knew that he was harsh on Jack when they split in 1963. He was sorry for punching Jack and for leaving him so speechless, in so cold manner ... Yes, that kind of behaviour reflected defence from his own feelings, but Jack was the victim. Ennis knew that and felt guilty a big deal, so he would've never took the first step. I believe that Ennis was even worried about Jack has forgotten him.

Realizing that Jack's is coming to town.... yep! It's was like a Santa coming to Riverton with a big lovely sexy present in his bag  :P... He was delirious... and we all know the rest...mmmmmmmm <^(

I'm with both of you also.Ennis was his worst enemy in the end,because he had preferred to spend 4 years surely suffering for his lost love,instead of facing his feelings and fighting for them.Taking the initiative would have been for him being naked before society in these feelings; and that would have been too much for him,mainly in these first momens of their relationship.We mustn't forget that after 20 years he was so afraid and doubting as in the beginning.Such a pity ¡. :-\\
