it was cute when during the "getting tired of your dumbass missin" that laugh giggle Jack gives after Ennis pushes him sooo cute 

but then when he gets all up in Ennis's face okay now that was sexy  it would have been totally ok if they choose to makeout there 

Yeah he went from cute to sexy in a matter of seconds like he could do very often 
when he is in Ennis's face I have trouble understanding all he's saying, it's like he's breathless

The cutest Jake Scene is when Ennis is telling about his past (his dad I guess) to Jake and Jake smiles and tell him thats the  most he spoke in 2 weeks and also the way he looks at Ennis throughout the film
Sexiest scene is surely when he removes his coat off in the tent and the way he kisses Ennis after 4 years and wants to lean on him...My heart skipped a beat

Just watched a Youtube clip and noticed how very sexy Jack is in the scene where he is peeling the potato and Ennis is strip-washing in the background.  I love the way the cigarette is hanging in his lips, and you sense he soooooo wants to look, but dare not!

As sportstalk23 had already said, I am glad you brought up this thing about the cigarette -- it was certainly a vehicle of subtle emotional expressiveness in that scene. from which we get a sense of Jack's turmoil within.

Very seldom do we encounter a scene that is so subtly composed, and yet makes us squirm in our seats...

 It is a great scene. It's where we get to see those sexy long eyelashes on him. they're so long it's hard to tell if he looked. It's not hard to  to imagine how wound up  Jack felt, He had Ennis bathing  a little more than 3ft. away, within Jack's "personal space"  I really don't think Jack heard one word about the coyote story when Ennis started to undress and shave. Ennis was gonna eventually go the full monty. Except for the mess with the can opener, he sweated it out nicely. ...But he did look. , Cute, sexy, and hot.

AF, I read somewhere that Jake said that the mess with the can opener was not planned!!! It just happened....and Jake and Heath improvised, and Ang liked it so he included the take in the film!!! Who wouldn't be nervous with Heath shirtless by your side?

   To be sure, Jake's portrayal of Jack in BBM is both sensual and expressive.  As many have already noted, the sensuality and expressiveness come through via the smallest of gestures -- and without the use of words.  Such is the case with this scene...

Thanks Tammy.  Jack's sensuality is certainly not morbid or cheap.  It is endearing and emotive.  I love those scenes that highlight it, such as SNIT and this scene were Jack watches Ennis wash himself.
