I am posting this in both the Heath pix thread and the Jake pix thread. I'm actually not sure if it should go in the Heath pix or Ennis pix thread, in the Jake pix or Jack pix thread, or if a new thread or threads should be opened about this specifically, what follows.
I have a request, or an idea: It seems to me, as I peruse all these beautiful pix of Heath and of Jake (in Jake pix, in the tongue thread and in the fuzz thread) that I very seldom see Ennis in the many pix of Heath, seldom see Jack in the many pix of Jake. It seems it would be of interest to try to find pix of Heath where we see him looking like Ennis, find pix of Jake where we see him looking like Jack.
I feel, as they've always said about Heath -- how he disappeared into the character of Ennis -- that Jake every bit as much disappeared into the character of Jack. For instance, especially looking at Jack in the "confrontation scene," I feel I can see absolutely
no traces of Jake. A phenomenal becoming-the-character there. On the other hand, maybe Ennis's big grin when Jack is horsing around, is kind of Heath? Maybe I see some Jack in some of Jake's body language, but not so much in the face...except maybe sometimes in the eyes, in the mouth?
Or should this be vice-versa? Should it be pix of Heath or Jake that look like Ennis or Jack, or should it be pix of Ennis or Jack that look like Heath or Jake? I guess it can go both ways.
I myself do not have a good example of a Heath pic that I think looks like Ennis or a Jake pic that looks like Jack, not right at this moment, but I'll be on the lookout.
You can just ignore this if you think I need to get a life.
