He will be eternally missed, but he will never be forgotten

Christopher Nolan, accepting the Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe on Heath's behalf.

He was, as an actor and a professional and a human being, one of a kind

Charles Roven, accepting Heath's BAFTA.

This award tonight would have humbly validated Heath's quiet determination to be truly accepted by you all here — his peers within an industry he so loved.

Kim Ledger, accepting Heath's Oscar.

I do love him in shades or red...  Something about the color goes well with his complexion...

Lovely!  This is a pendant to Jake's pix also showing him wearing a similar shirt, no?

An interesting pose!  It reminds me of something, but I can't put my finger on it just now...

I remember seeing pants like these at SAKS about 5 (?) years ago.  They were selling for 500.00 USD then...

I think pants like these are meant to be worn by people like him.  He makes it look much much better.  :)

Yes, I love him in proper formal wear, and you're so right about the earring.  And, piquant -- what a great word.

kathy

Thanks kathy.  And he has a purple flower for the buttonhole, no?  The color is striking against the black and white...

This one I find very beautiful, the planes of his face.

kathy

Yes, the face is wonderfully angular in the stark light.  :)

Very beautiful, keren: subdued but warm.  But the face shines.  :)

New Guideline

Please note that a new guideline has been posted in the latest newsletter against nested quotes in the Pix threads.  Please make sure that we you do not nest 2 or more quotes in a post.  If necessary, trim down earlier quotes or do the necessary edits to ensure that this guideline is followed.

Thanks all.

Sorry but I have an English problem - what's "nested quotes"?

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

His style of relatively short hair is very beautiful.  The shades also add to the look.  :)

Questions About the New Guideline

Today, I have been asked by a few people what is meant by nested quotes.  The newest Newsletter gives us an example of this.  You can also ask me or any of the other moderators.  Please don't hesitate to ask if you need clarification.  And keep posting.  :)
