Rather cute this one.

Very cute this one.

You know what I realize, and I'll just say it right here while I'm thinking about it...and I feel the same about Jake -- these two are infinitely attractive to me in large part because of the roles they played in BBM.  I think if they were just any good-looking and talented actors, I might think they were that, but not have any other special affection for them.  But because they played Ennis and Jack, because they played men in love with each other, I just think so much more of them.  They are much more appealing because I have seen that side of them.

I see this in many pictures -- he has a most interesting face straight on.  Very nice lines.

I always wonder what he's thinking about here.  This is the reunion shirt, right?  Or I guess he could be just listening to something and singing.

The forehead is noticably high.  It hints at great intelligence, no?

I of course was going to point that out, too, tpe.  Especially noticeable when hair is buzzed off.  Yes, supposedly the high forehead is a sign of intelligence...but Jake has a very low forehead/hairline, so who knows?  Probably some other subtlety of intelligence.  What does the frontal lobe do anyway?

It's from the SAG awards 2004. He just looks so gorgeous in all these pics, I could stare at them for hours... his face is a work of art.

I agree, Keren -- love him around this time.

When were the actual dates of filming BBM?  Was it in 2004?  So when I see some pics that I would know that was like right before or right after filming BBM.

Definitely love the Casanova look!

Definitely!  Totally love him in that movie.  (And I just watched part one of Casanova on Masterpiece Theater tonight -- interesting, modern-style and artistic production -- OT I know -- but I thought of Heath as I watched the story.

kathy

Interesting, but I was watching this too.  I adore David Tennant.  :)

Me, too.  This is a specific period I love his looks very much.  I think a bit more weight put on, it seems, which is nice for him.  His face is showing a perfect maturity; and obviously, he's all happy with life...

kathy

It is a distinguished look.  Very classy. But above all, it shows confidence.
