First of all,thank you for considering it "interesting" ¡  Yes,it's an unspoken love because everything was told with gestures,glances and the so called body language.Being as they were two inarticulate country boys,saying out loud something that scared them deeply-specially Ennis-would have been almost impossible.Ennis mainly preferred to deny his feelings than admitting them,as you say,and less still declaring them to his desire's object;to admit loving a man and not only !@#$ a man would have been another step in his way to "queerness"...
