  • ((( BBM )))
I started already by letting everybody know the DVD release date (I'm a member in almost 5 sites, all of them dedicated to BBM, Jake and Heath)...  I want BBM to be one of the top sellers here in US and that's why I'm asking you to join me and let's promote together this project.  Tell your friends, relatives, people you know who were really touched by this film etc...

 ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

EDITED:  I forgot, I'm also buying more than three copies or maybe even four...  One for my best friend, sister and two for me!  It depends, maybe I even buy more copies to give as presents for some other friends too!   :D

Not only promoting, I'm bestowing several upon a few that really need to see it.

Roomie "J" still hasn't seen it. (Theaters bother his eyes. Thinks I'm nuts obsessed with BBM & I'll bet he
gets it worse than me!) Mom, DJ's mom & sis, aunt & uncle, so many more.

Riobbm, there is no doubt in my mind that the DVD will be the top seller in the US.

Not only am I going to tell people about it, but also I have pre-ordered 10 copies to give others who would not see it in the theatre.

I just visited a local HMV store and it looks like they're releasing a director's cut of CRASH the same day BBM comes out.

Another reason to promote the sale of BBM on DVD!  We need the numbers for BBM to be HUGE.

BBM DVD as a birthday gift is great. From now on, it will be the only gift I give.

I'm going to buy 2 copies, b/c I'll probably wear out the disk by watching it over & over again.
I don't have many friends so there is no-one else I can really give it too.  But I'll tell my friend to rent it!  Cause I don't think she'll buy it.  But maybe I could get her boyfriend's friend it, b/c he liked the movie  ;D

I already told my friends the release date. Someone overheard me on my smoke break yesterday and said she was so glad she was out there- so I filled her in on the release date and she borrowed my book today. I'll tell my aunt and my grandmother because they both said they wanted to see it so I know my aunt will buy it.

I contacted the website where I pre-order mine and asked the same question. I was told that the studio notified all retailers not to take any pre-order. I am not sure why.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS, IT'S ONLY TWO WEEKS AND FOUR DAYS AWAY FROM IT'S OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE AND WE HAVEN'T SEEN ANY PROMOTIONS!!!  IT MAKES ME MAD BUT IT WON'T STOP ME FROM ADVERTISING IT MYSELF...  FOCUS FEATURES HAVE SAID IT AND THE OFFICIAL DATE IS APRIL 4TH, SO LET'S EVERYBODY KNOW THIS (I TOLD EVERYBODY POSSIBLE ALREADY  ;) )!!!

Yes the way BBM is released is unusual. Thanks for helping BBM spread the DVD release. Many of us here are anxiously waiting for the DVD regardless of the promotions and when it comes out, it will be a tidal wave.  :D

I can understand your concerns.

As a friendly reminder: typing in all capitcal letters LIKE THIS are considered shouting online. It is considered by some to be rude and difficult to read.  ;)

Are you serious?!  Do you want me to leave?!  Nah, I'm just joking but yeah I get your point...  First you make me reduced the size of my signature banner than you said that you have changed the rules and that no longer have the signature option... and now you're telling me that writing in capital letters is considered rude and difficult to read.  OK, you know I'll stay even if you were telling me to leave these forums...  I love BBM so much that this is nothing (these little things like changing the banner etc...) and besides I do understand what you're saying and it's for the benefits of all in here!  So, there's no problem at all!

What's wrong?!  I don't get it...  Two weeks and one day before the DVD release and I haven't seen anything on TV about Brokeback Mountain...  This is the greatest film of 2005 and also the most popular and yet everything about the release is kept as a secret.  Why?!  Even these tv series from the 80's Thundercats are announced to be release two months before...

Have you guys seen something relate to BBM on TV, magazines, newspapers etc...?!   ??? ??? ??? >:(

Barnes & Noble - BBM #1 (Csh not even in the top 10)

Go BBM.

Tabarnacle! I just saw that Amazon is selling BBM for $17, and I paid $21 at Wolfevideo. So, I guess the lesson for today is that it pays to shop around before you buy. Well, I'll pick up my backup copy at Amazon.

"The American Family Association, the same antigay group boycotting Ford for advertising in gay media outlets, is urging its members to call their local Wal-Mart store to complain about the national chain's stocking of the DVD, set to be released April 4. According to a report on the conservative Christian media site www.agapepress.org, Randy Sharp, director of special projects for the Mississippi-based AFA, said the movie is not "family-friendly" and does not belong on the shelves of a store that has marketed itself to middle America.

"It's quite obvious to anyone who shops at Wal-Mart that they're no longer the family-friendly company that they used to project in their image," Sharp is quoted as saying. "We've seen a downward spiral trend by the Wal-Mart Corporation in which they are more and more becoming like the world rather than the family-friendly company we grew up with."

Sharp, according to the report, is encouraging concerned Christians to "let their local Wal-Mart managers know how they feel and that they are not pleased over the chain's decision to promote and carry the pro-homosexual movie."

Wal-Mart has no plans to remove the DVD from its stores. In a statement released Tuesday, March 28, the company simply said, "Wal-Mart provides movie selections in our stores and online, recognizing that a broad segment of our customer base wants to buy the latest titles."

"Hands down, the most boring movie I have seen all year. Also it had the most instances of foul language, bad moral judgements made by the main characters, and came across as propaganda. How so? To quote best selling writer David Keppelian, "It is very, very propagandistic, because the entire purpose of the movie is to make homosexuality seem like something good and appealing, and to make people who are opposed to homosexuality bigots and homophobes".
The photography of nature is great. The plot is not. What many do not comprehend is that not all 'love' is good. Hollyweird thinks many vices are OK to indulge in and they make movies with this spin to influence primarily young Americans. Due in large measure to this agenda, moral standards have plummeted. The only way to stop the decline is to not watch such poor films."

I detest savages like the above reviewer.  Perhaps he should familiarize himself a bit more with the Old Testament (in either Hebrew or Greek, if he can!) and count the instances of incest, adultery, onanism, concubinage, pedophilia, and other such proclivities.  Even if we were to take his ridiculously narrow viewpoint, will these make Sacred Scripture any less moral?

Death to the barbarians.
