In the short story, there’s a line during the scene where Jack and Ennis meet back up after the four years of not seeing each other that confuses me a little. “Christ, it got a be all that time a yours ahorseback makes it so god damn good…” said by Jack. Is it implying that Ennis was on the receiving end that scene, or is it something else?
