I´m going to see BBM today after work for the 4th time. Here in my hometown it goes in two theaters and after Oscars they have moved one of them even into bigger theater with larger screen and more seats. Great!

BBM has ended its run here.

I had hoped to see it for the third time, but didn't make it.  I do have the book of Annie's short stories and the 'story to script' book to tide me over until the DVD comes out.  I ordered it a week or so ago and hope that the projected release date of early April is correct.

I have this last week to see it, and I will.  #7, come Thursday night!
He pressed his face into the fabric and breathed in slowly through his mouth and nose, hoping for the faintest smoke and mountain sage and salty sweet stink of Jack but there was no real scent, only the memory of it, the imagined power of Brokeback Mountain of which nothing was left but what he held in his hands. Going by yourself is a good experience.  Out of 7 viewings I was 4 times with someone, all different friends.  I look for another viewing Sunday, all by myself.

chameau, yeah, but I've never been in a cinema alone by now.
This tradition will be broken on Monday, I think. :)

number 9 yesterday evening

I'm at nine too!  It's funny I can recall all my viewings!  Each different.  My fav so far was in my neighborhood little second run
theater.  IT was right after Oscar and the house was packed.  A lot of couples there, and I over heard one guy, very macho looking
who said he was there due to the Oscar controversy, wanted to see for himself.  So it made me feel good that the Oscar thing may
actually HELP BBM.

You are right, I could recall all my viewings too.  My favorites are number 2, first time in English with French sub-titles, perfect crowd and no pop corn allowed in the theater.  Number 3, my most emotional, perfect crowd again and Niagara on the cheeks for me but... some cretin opened the lights at the beginning of the credits.  Number 9, yesterday, my most cerebral viewing.  What I love about my BBM movie experience in theaters, I know now there are theaters I will never go again, never, never.  I will support Cineplex Odeon, AMC and of course the perfect Ex-Centris.

I'm off topic BTW  :-X

I'm just from the cinema. Third.
But...it was...it was different...it differs from my first viewing...second.
I cant explain it. ???
It was amazing.

And, have you ever noticed a whole audience who keep on sitting and not going away though film has ended? Nobody had gone until titles stopped!
Im in shock (in my previous two viewings it didnt so)

What's the matter for this different perception, Damon?
Why did you feel stronger and better?

Maybe you have gone deeper inside the film or you were
more ready to accept all the content of the movie.
In this way, perhaps you have allowed yourself to feel
freely the emotions. It would be very interesting to
understand this motivation, for all us too.Human things
are very exciting, really.
A presto, ciao Damon e buona notte :)

The last showing in my area is this Thursday night. I'm going to try to get to the VERY last one, at 9:40pm.  I'll be real tired on Friday, but it will be worth it.
