Let's Single OUT those academy members who voted without seeing BBM

If I were an Academy Exec. I would be FURIOUS at this, do they take action at all?  I am surprised at Sarah J Parker, I mean that is really
odd to say that.  I don't think she would boycott the movie like the others but to say that on national TV?  You are so lucky to be in the academy at all.

This might be naive, but i just found out yesterday that members of the Academy could pick and choose what they wanted to watch. This fact really needs to be exposed. I now know that the Oscars really aren't qualified to be picking "best picture" (or any award for that matter!).  The process is not fair. Plain and simple. This needs to get out to the public. The Oscars need to have their nose rubbed in the dirt. I definitely know that I will not watch a minute of the OScars until the voting process becomes fair for all movies.

You know, the one month anniversary of the BP fiasco at the Oscar's is coming up.  I think the Academy is hoping that all the fuss that took place in the first weeks after will die down and all the unhappy people will go away, to return next year supporting the Oscars like nothing happened, la de da.

I'd like to suggest, on April 5th, we all send ANOTHER message via e-mail to the Academy through their website, letting them know we haven't forgotten, we're not going away, and next year they'll be getting slammed as hard as possible because we'll be reminding everyone of the joke that is their voting process.

Is it wrong of me to not want to let this go???

I think that is a great idea! We need to let the Academy know that we are not going away until we are heard and things have changed.  How should we go about doing this letter?
