OT but I had a parcel once in australia, and it was very big so the mailman hid it behind some bushes by the door so noone was to see it and take it... but off course I didn't see it either so it was there for a week until someone did notice and I got my parcel lol

We have bigger letterboxes so my dvd didn't stick out of it :)

According to my memory, there are 2 major missings. But I am not really sure as my memory is not very reliable, haha~

1) Their "after" scene in the motel (the 1st re-union after BBM summer). vankwok, your English is wonderful!  No, do not compare the short story with the movie (DVD or theater).  They differ in many places.  Some scenes in the story are not even in the movie.  Some scenes are in the movie but not in the story.  They are two separate entities.

As for the sex where you believe Jack also penetrates Ennis, I am afraid that is wishful thinking and is not in the story or movie.   ;D

If you have a DVD that is 134 minutes long, I suspect you have the full original movie.  I can't see the studio putting different scenes into a movie for foreign distribution.


Thanks Patriot 1 and Dirtbiker! Yes probably I mixed up some scenes in the book and the movie. Anyway, ng goi sai~ (Cantonese, meaning thanks a lot!)

i finally got my UK-DVD!!! soooo happy! already watched a couple scenes but for the whole thing, i'll need to settle down and be alone...
sure feels good to have it lying in front of me now. ;D

@pierralex: my DVD came in the same way as yours: hanging out the postbox... good for me that there is a little walk leading up to our house so noone had the idea of taking it!

OMG, I finally got mine!!!!!!!!!!! I got it today, I'm so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course I ran out and bought myself a new multizone DVD player right away and I'm gonna watch it tonight.
I feel like I won the lottery  ;D ;D ;D

after waiting nearly one month (the company where i ordered it (btw on 24.4.!!) had some delivery problems ::)) the english version arrived the day before yesterday  O0

I forgot to say I ordered the DVD in January and oicked it up the day it came out in the UK. Someone loves me - I can;t park the car (tto incompetent) the someone arranged a big slot I could drive into right near the shop. I took it home held inside my sweater and put it into the DVD player, wher it has been ever since, on the boy scout principle of "Be prepared".
