I always think these dark clouds on the left are the sign of an ill omen for Jack and Ennis' future relationship :'(

Yet, it's a wonderful mountain landscape !!!! The clouds give beauty to this scene !!!

I always wonder why Jack didn't get up... a storm in moutain isn't something you can just ignore (I've konw it once and it's definitely not safe at all). Especially since the past year sheep had been touched by lightening...

There is no cloud. But we are with Ennis and his life, inside the trailer, so I have the impression that the outside with blue sky is not for him. And, more, the window is very small... As the trailer was retreated in a spell. (bad expression I think) What do you think of ?

I don't know... it seems to me that it's the opposites with the BBM period :

mountain - plain
young - old
hapiness - sadness
love - solitude
clouds - empty sky

like if the empty sky means that there is no more trouble love story to be lived, all has gone and only memories are left :'(

I always find this scene hypnotic

The moon is so bright that sometimes I wonder if the scene was shot bay daytime and then digitally darkened, and thus the sun became the moon...

I would suggest they did not do that Seb. The sheep are laying down and in some cases look like sleeping. I think it is a night scene...with possible touch-up.
