For those who would be interested, the french version on the France edition of the DVD is different from the one on the american and quebec DVD. Voices are differents and they don't say the same things.  ;)

Got a FedEx card in my mailbox yesterday...  It arrived!  :)

I have however a 17.63$ CAN of import duties/taxes to pay to get it... I"m not a happy Canadian  :X

Anyway, I'll go get it Monday since I asked FedEx to send the parcel to their downtown office, can't wait  :P

I have my Prestige Edition from France and the the layer sample is one with pictures of Ennis  <^(

I'm quite impressed by the quality of this Edition... weird thing tought, I started to read the short story in French (the book is included), It felt really strange... I'm like unable to read this story in French anfd I have to admit it's well translated...  ^*()

The prestige edition is very good indeed.
The little book is nice, even if there is nothing new, the text come from the interviews and the press file.
my layer sample is this one :

The menu is absolutely gorgeous, the best I've seen yet between my 6 editions.
The photographs are nice too.

My only regret is that I thought the box would be in wood, but it isn't.

As soon as I can, I'll post some pics and screencaps  :c)

To me the taiwan edition is still the best one, but this one is right after  :f)

I'm maybe off topic  :s)

No I'm not after all, I was very, very, very  happy to get Ennis on my layer sample.  <^(  Mikele was hoping for Jack and he got Jack's mum... I would have been very happy to get her as well but...  My point is, maybe we should start a new thread about the layer samples we got and if you are not happy with yours, you maybe make someone happy and swap it with another's one!

M*rde!  If I'm not a fan I'm due for some fool house  *^)

Hmmmm... I better not be charged a duty fee for my copy!  I've purchased DVD's from Europe before and I've always gotten them without any import duties...   Hope it's in my mailbox when I get home today!   ;D

I don't know if you noticed it but the soundtrack was supposed to be included in the Ultimate edition, and it isn't...

Yup!  But I already have the CD of the soundtrack plus + the whole score on my hard disk and a CD so I'm not complaining.

Great to know that France is getting the DVD.

What is the sample card?

What is the sample card?

It's a strip of 6 frames of the actual film

Bad news, if some of you were interested to order the ''Edition Prestige'' the 5000 boxes are already sold out.  Sweetlife just got an Email from Amazon.fr to tell him the order he made in mid-june was canceled, he is not a happy camper, it's worse since we had lunch today and I shown him the one I received  :(

I verified on the FNAC webpage, it's the same, sold-out!

Wow, didn't know they had a limit of 5000 in circulation... I'm glad I preordered it last month, even though my sample cells are of Pa Twist!

Yes, I found that out.  :(

There will be some supply so long as there is demand.  The online auction sites and the speciality sites will inevitably have them, I hope.  But at what price, I can only guess...

About the Sold Out thing I wrote previouly, it's sold out on the web but there are probably some boxes available in stores so, Pierralex, you should try to go to La FNAC or any DVD store directly.
