I want everyone to know that I am the lucky one in the friendship between Lauren and I.  She is a wonderful listener, and gives great advice.  It is my honor to call her, FRIEND.

It would be so wonderful if I could go to England and give her a great big hug and kiss.  Thank you Lauren.

I think I'm insecure enough to ask in the Newsletter if there are many (or any) others besides myself who have found almost their entire waking hours with Jack & Ennis at the forefront of their thoughts, and view different everyday situations largely in relation to BBM.  Maybe start a thread dealing with this?  I'm beginning to get a little worried.

Thanks

Here is a quote for next week's newsletter, made by jerasjr in the silver wolves thread on 9/11 in the year of our lord 2006.

Gandhi said: "You must be the change you wish to see in the world", and if BBM has brought about a change in each of us, then how important that is...and if that change involves how we relate to each other, then it is vital that we hold on to this change within us and hold on to each other.  And if others notice that change, then we have achieved.
There was some open space between what he knew and what he tried to believe, but nothing could be done about it, and if you can't fix it you've got to stand it.

Ennis, riding against the wind back to the sheep in the treacherous, drunken darken light, thought he'd never had such a good time, felt he could paw the white out of the moon.

Hello,

I'm new here and don't know yet how it works, but I saw in the newsletter that release date of DVD in Belgium was not mentioned.

It has been released end September (Zone 2 DVD), which allowed me to watch it already 2 times and still feeling sad.

Hope this message appears at the right place

I think a mention of the Fag Hag Manifesto mentioned in one of the threads is worthy of the newsletter.  While the title of this essay may be offensive to many and keep them from reading it, the essay is well worth anyone's time.  It doesn't deal with women who have friendships with gay men.  That's a part of it, but the total message is for everyone -- men and women alike, straight and gay.  Maybe some people would read it if it appears in the newsletter who otherwise would not come across it in the thread.  I think it is a lesson in life.  Beautifully expostulated.  Lamusica
