The screenplay has the following which I did not hear in the movie. However, they boys said something to each other while they were riding their horses.


JACK: I wish we'd jump a coyote. I'd love to rope a coyote.

ENNIS: I doubt I'll live to see that miracle...


SCENE CHANGE: Jack and little Bobby are in the tractor.
