I don't get this. How could the number drop when more votes have been counted?
Is it the number relative to others?
Ethan, to get the percent of votes Ang Lee got (3.31 at this time) you have to take the total number of votes for Ang and divide that by the total number of votes cast for everyone.
Example: I vote for Ang and 9 others vote for someone else. And would have a 10% rating.
If I vote for Ang and 1,000,000 vote for someone else then he would have a .0001% rating.
The more people that vote for someone else the more votes needed to move Ang up by just .01 percent. In the above example (1 to 1,000,000), it would take 100 votes for Ang to bring him to .01%, assuming that nobody voted for anyone else.
Hope I didn't confuse you more.
