Perhaps it already issued here for past, but I would like to know, does it have any sepcial means for this scenes as under:"Pair of deuces going nowhere" in Joe Aguirre's hand.
I think it refers to Jack & Ennis's relationship.Their relationship has started, but is going nowhere. Ennis can only go so far and Jack is constantly hanging on, waiting for him but getting nowhere.Nicely picked up jjmiao
Deuce ( teo ones) is the lowest throw at dice, therefore presumably means "worth little" - Aguirre's implying that that's what they are, no future, no prospects. Ironically it's also what ennis says about himself in the last scene with Jack.
Yes,same goes for me as what jesseanne21 said.Deuce being the lowest in a pack of cards.Aguirre being his mean and horrible self.Jennis.x
