Ah...I would say "so true", but I've never viewed BBM at the same time as someone else, so I can't. I'm sure it is nice, though.
And although synchronised BBM watching is quite something, it is really something else to be watching BBM and talking on MSN to a friend, who is at the same time watching Pirates of the Caribbean, and both of us are periodically drooling over our respective Jacks, arguing over Pirate hats or Cowboy hats, and having exchanges of this ilk:
"Oh no, Ennis is turning him away. Noooo...don't cry, Jack!" (Me)
"Ahh, poor Twisty McBrokegay. Actually, I think Twisty McGayback sounds better." (My friend's response)
And:
"Oh God, Jack is doing his puppy-dog eyes. I just want to step in and hug him!" (My friend)
"Pfft. Why? He hasn't gone through any emotional turmoil or anything; he just runs around falling over and sword-fighting with people." (Me)
"Well why should I be sorry for *your* Jack, then?""Because he is painfully in love with someone who can't pluck up the courage to be with him when he knows that's all they both want, so he has to live a lie and a sham marriage, when all the while his true love is out there without him, and the one time he thinks they can have a life together, he is rejected, and cries in his pickup, and completely loses hope.""Hmph. Whatever. Jack Sparrow gets eaten by a sea monster." Severely OT, I know, but I just felt like sharing that. Apparently BBM didn't affect her on quite the same level as it did me...plus she has a raging lust for Johnny Depp.
