WASHINGTON, DC - The United States Conference of Bishops Office for Film and Broadcasting has altered their rating for the homosexual propaganda film Brokeback Mountain after a story by LifeSiteNews.com pointed out that the office's praise for the film was completely inappropriate.

While the glowing review remains, the USCCB office's rating for the film has been altered to the most severe rating - "O" for morally offensive from "L" which denotes that it is appropriate for a limited adult audience.  Moreover, the author of the review of the film published on the USCCB's news service Catholic News Service, Harry Forbes, has removed his name from the article, which is now listed as published "By Catholic News Service".

Brokeback Mountain is aptly rated-R. It is filled with very homosexual images. It includes a couple graphic “love scenes” between two men, and love scenes between men and women. The Ennis character is shown nude (in background), while bathing by the tent. The Alma character is shown bare-breasted. Included are several scenes of men kissing each other passionately. These scenes are very realistic, and honestly left me with a sick feeling long after. The images are haunting, and so I must caution, spiritually dangerous for anyone who is not completely grounded in Scripture!

I just came across this article.. i think its a month or so old and i didnt know if anyone else saw it so i thought i'd share it.. but yeah.. that makes me sick.. im catholic too by the way and I really can't stand such narrowmindedness

You and me together
Through the days and nights
I don't worry 'cause
Everything's gonna be all right
People keep talking
They can say what they like
But all I know is everything's gonna be all right..

Anyone who calls it a "homosexual propaganda film" is merely showing off their own ignorance!

These people should spend more time helping the homeless and sick, instead of passing what they consider a moral judgement.  Absolutely ridiculous.

These scenes are very realistic, and honestly left me with a sick feeling long after.  The auther makes me sick with his narrow-mindedness.

ROTFLMAO!!! *gasping for breath* Anyone who makes such ridiculous statements doesn't need to worry about being influenced by BBM. They are already possessed by the devil! If they truly believed in Christ, they would be out following his teaching to "love thy brother as thyself", instead of trying to spread fear and hatred by spewing lies and distortions.

Just out of curiosity, how is that this reviewer knows that the scenes of gay love are "very realistic"?  Don't you have to have at least seen, if not experienced, something yourself in order to know whether its film depiction is realistic or not?
