Thanks, kathy.  Sometimes, his pix have the fluidity and harmony of visual music.  Let me illustrate with some well-known pix:

staccato:

adagio/largo:

andante con grazioso:

cantabile:

prestissimo

sforzando:

allegro capriccioso

etc., etc., etc...  :)

Oh Thomas I love it!  I'm glad I mentioned music. :)  These are fantastic, Jake in musical notation.  Yes, yes!  Some I'm not familiar with (but can surmise from the words themselves).  I just love Italian.  I love them all, but I do love adagio/largo of course; and andante con grazioso.  What a pleasure -- thank you.

I can like both: it depends on the person.  And a golden mean (not too much, not too little) is always great.  :)

Some people say that there is an intense erotic delight one can get from absolutely smooth lovers.  I understand this in the sense that nothing gets in the way.  And one does not have to manuever gingerly around -- as in the case of beards, for instance.  But there are also carnal delights that one can enjoy with hirsute partners -- also of a tactile and sensory nature.

Let us just say that I dislike people who completely shave all their body hair as much as I disapprove of people who are much too hairy.  :)

The golden mean, of course.  But the reality is, we fall in love with a soul, not with a hairy or not-hairy chest.  And it's just totally individual, as is everything, what we like sensually in a lover's body.

And don't get me, as a woman, on the subject of shaving off hair.  I mean, people see a man with hair on his legs and under his arms and say, nice.  They see a woman with her natural hair on her legs and underarms and say, eeww.  How dumb.  Why should women pretend they don't have hair?  If you're a swimmer, though, men or women, go ahead and shave.  But I said don't get me on it.

And back on-topic:  I love Jake's hair, all of it everywhere.

Yes, I love his imperfect "humanness."  I think he should quit biting his nails, though (I used to, so I can say that), but still, it's just a little quirk of his personality tht just adds to his beauty.

kathy

I love the thought that he bites his nails.  It speaks of nervous energy.

Thanks kathy.  I confess that I associate Jake with music quite a lot, especially with a number of my favorite pieces.

I admit with some embarassment I have this fantasy of imagining Jake in the role of Pelléas in Debussy's Pelléas et Mélisande (perhaps my favorite vocal work).  But there is a passage declaimed by Pelléas that I have always associated for some reason or other with Jake and certain Jake pix.  Here is the passage.  I don't feel qualified to translate it.  But I will try to find an online translation and post it later on.

So true, we delight in the individual first and foremost.  The hair (or lack thereof) is a secondary consideration.  Let us stick to the core essentials then.  ;)

From the series of SAG red carpet pix.

The persons behind him are passing him by with such jaded looks.  How odd... ;)
