I hadn't seen this yet, Thomas.  First, though, I'm glad the DVD cover will have the three stars on it -- didn't love the movie poster as much as I might were Jake on it.  But you're right -- what is it that looks odd.  I'm thinking all three are a bit off, and that it could be an artist's work.  I'm thinking this because of, e.g., all the Star Trek novels, where they can't use photos from the series, but artists paint(?) them, and of course, they aren't then an actual photographic likeness.  But that wouldn't be the case with the official DVD, would it, that they had an artist's rendering instead of photographs?

Meanwhile...it is intriguing, to try to define what it is that is different about this image of Jake.
