This I find to be the most beautiful in the original set of pix.  Is there a bigger version of this?

 :)
The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

I love this picture  :8  :8  :8

Me, too -- not sure how I'd describe it, but it's cool.

Sigh -- another late night, no time to catch up with seven pages of Jake, nor tomorrow night (Halloween)...  Well, I'll have plenty of pleasure awaiting me when next I can get back here.  (I don't look at pix threads at work, because I always want to save the pix on my computer at home.)

Because the sweet of youth | Doth vanish all too soon | Shall I forget, forsooth | To learn its lingering tune | My joy to memorise | In those young eyes

Friends, have a great weekend.  :)

My god, what are you trying to do to me?  What a beautiful spirit animates this face...
