Good morning :ghug:

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

After months of seeing the pics in this series and not saying anything, I have to say the "good looking" part bothers me.  I really doubt that shirt is his personal choice, but what they wanted him to wear.  I think he wouldn't be so shallow as to make "good looking" a written requirement of his.

Love this one.  I love his dirty bad-boy look.  (Just one of his looks I love, which is all of them...)

Is that his heart he is showing ?  <^(

That's a perfect way of looking at it!  I hadn't thought of that.  He certainly doesn't have to open his shirt to look incredibly sexy.

OMG.  Thanks, Twisted.  Another one of the pastel beauties I love.  He is unearthly dreams...  I also always love the light chest hair when his shirts are open.

Nice ;) <^(

Nice, and odd.

It's Thursday night...and now I'm only 11 pages behind!  But must stop now.  I am dizzy from so much Jake-ness...and must cool down before bed...  Thank you all for pix!

He's almost too beautiful to  be believed in this one. The way the light plays on him and his hair. And those moles are to die for....... <^(

There's that soul-less looking model again.  But man, does Jake look totally gorgeous, just that little bit we see...

Sh*t -- I am 20 -- count 'em, 20 -- pages behind!  Two evenings away, I think, and look what happens.

kathy

Kathy, don't worry.  :)

She does seem like a mannequin.  ;)

Wow -- she's good, this Babs.  These are excellent.  She undoubtedly works from "traced" photographs, but still, that's not all that easy -- and she's captured the spirit of him beautifully.

kathy

I agree.  The artist captures the spirit wonderfully.

Yes, we've talked about this elsewhere.  I also found them so wonderful that night.  (But then, that bias I always mention -- early days of seeing them live, and so I like imprinted on them -- or is it vice-versa?)  I don't recall, did they mention, while still at the podium, the bizarre-ness of what was going on, what made them crack up?  I know Heath didn't know he was going to be introducing BBM -- and both thought it was dumb that the stars of the movie should be introducing it, with all the purple prose and all.

kathy

Yes, the purple prose was a bit too much.  I don't blame them.  I would have been hard pressed to be gracious.
