Any tones, tpe. Any tones. :)

Reds, yes.  Blues, yes.  Black and white, yes.  Yellow, turquoise, chartreuse, puce, burnt umber...

I do love all his characters.  I have talked with Jennis about his "great" roles and his "gentle" roles.  Although I do love his great roles, I have a special place in my heart for his gentle ones.  Of all his roles, Jack Twist bridges the "great" and the "gentle" divide.  He is both.

Fascinating.  See, I can't judge previous roles.  But you can.  But I get what you mean about his Jack Twist bridging his two extremes.

I love these sets you're posting, Thomas...but they're almost too small for me to really appreciate.  Give a break to one with older eyes...

I love this picture- it's one of my faves (that list is very long ;))  <^(

I know -- we're pretty ridiculous with our "favorites."  This is my favorite, now this is my favorite, then this is my favorite.  He is multifacted, as is our appreciation of him.

He's so cute when he laughs  <^(

He certainly is.  He has such a freedom to him.

Well, it's goodnight for me (Monday night).  I'm only 10 pages behind now.  *^)

kathy

I'm there, with Jake. We'll help you ;) ;D

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

The jarhead pix from both NYC and LA premieres are some of his best (taken as a set, that is.)
