My God, so many Gems in one day!  Twisted and Thomas you are on a roll!!!!  THANK YOU  :^^)
Danny and me, Danny and me,  Danny and me and the sea,
Bobbing out of Pleasure Bay, the islands on our lee;
Spectacle, Georges, Gallops, the sun-wash on the brine
Castle Island where Skovo danced a bear-dance in bear-time.
The Golden Boy has chosen, I know what I will be
Danny and me, seanchai, Danny and me and the sea.

Good night all :^^) :ghug:

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

He is magnificent as Swoff.  Time will judge this movie favorably.  I consider Swoff one of his great characters.  And it was probably the one that challenged him the greatest.

I really liked it too Thomas.  He was very different in this, and I have to say.... I liked it!   I don't know what the problem was with it at all. I only have to think of it to start singing, "Don't worry, be happy"

Nothing is wrong with it.  People have preconceptions about war movies these days -- and this one is quite a different one.  And it also came out with BBM, and Proof.  So Jake had 3 movies out in late 2005.  A wonder year, but the attention got divided.

I also love Hal in Proof.  He is a gentle character.  As I said before, he is all heart.

Same here, carbyville.  :)

I'm practically the only one left here at the office, so I had better leave.  It's the Thanksgiving holiday tomorrow in the US -- a nice time to be with family and friends.

An early good night then to you all.   I leave you with this pic of 2 friends.  :)

Imagine him showing up as your childrens party entertainer. All the mums would be joining in all the games that's for sure. :i

Never mind about the kids- they can occupy themselves.  ;D

Not me to both questions. I have no willpower where he is concerned  :)

Good morning :)
