Thanks Tom.  I can't see it right now, but Hanna's comment intrigues me enough to take a look after work!

Okay, might as well put this here, my dream about Jake last night (so that coming here and seeing his pix is like a shock of recognition).  We somehow knew each other, we weren't strangers, yet I was aware in the dream this was the first time I'd seen him in person.  We were hanging out together at some weird exhibit/museum place, with lots of people around, but we were both leaning by the back wall, like escaping the crush of people, and we exchanged these looks that were like, "we're in this together."  The word I thought of -- I'm not sure if in the dream or after I woke up -- to describe seeing him in person is electrifying.  Nice dream.

kathy

Wonderful dream kathy.  Thanks for sharing it.  What you describe certainly has that dream-like quality to it.  But how sure are you that you aren't dreaming right now and that THAT wasn't reality?

I love this one.  A bit of consternation in those baby blues, in the slightest furrowing of the brow.  Quite expressive yet subtle.

kathy

Drawing a parallel with the comment we made on a fuzzy Heath pic, he has a distinguished look.  But not delicate -- at least in the pic in question.

[Reminds me of the look Jack gives Ennis after he says "We're supposed to guard the sheep not eat 'em"

:)

From the same series, but more serious here:

What, they haven't made them into condos yet?  Well just think, you might have been driving past and there was Jake and you didn't even know it...

kathy

Not all (too many of them).  But a lot of the area has been converted.  :)

Well, maybe under 25, but over the age of consent!  Yum.

kathy

That pic is one of the sexiest on the ones when he was relatively young...  The smile is also quite sexy, even without the hair.

LOL!  You're welcome.  :^^)  I'm laughing at you still feeling faint.  In reality, I don't know about maintaining composure, though, none of us here -- not even you, Thomas.  Unless some angel came and delivered me from the danger of blabbering and stuttering like an idiot.  Then, you know, you'd think of all the perfect retorts well after you'd parted ways.  Well, any of us should have the privilege and pleasure of meeting Jake...

kathy

I think I can maintain composure.  But I can't promise that wahtever I say would make any sense...  ;)

This is for Thomas, yes?  Gray sweater, and a book he's probably writing poetry in.  ;)

I'm sure you could do that, Thomas.  You should be able to find her (?), yes?  From the name in the URL.  Have you been posting these drawings, or Twisted, or who?  Where did whoever posts them find them?  If you can't, Shelley (Condiments) is an artist, pencil drawings, very excellent from photographs, and she takes commissions for drawings -- and she loves Jake.

kathy

The jewelers have promised that they will finish the gem in December.  But even that carving is based off of pictures.  I would desire a one he posed for.  I would buy it at auction...

No, I don't remember.  Refresh my memory?  Must have been difficult for her to see.

Maggie Gyllenhaal says it was torture seeing her brother Jake getting beaten up in 'Brokeback Mountain'. The stunning actress admits she struggled to cope with the violent scenes in the Oscar-nominated gay cowboy drama - and says it brought out all her protective instincts. The 'Secretary' star told US based People magazine: "I really lost it when they show him getting beaten up. "He's my brother so maybe I felt it even more acutely. I thought, 'Why hurt him? What has he done?'"

From one of my favorite series: the Jarhead NYC Premiere pix.

This pic has everything.  The eyes of blue.  The angelic face -- thinner than usual -- and the delicate neck (kathy, take note).

Friends, thank you so much for sharing.  :)

Yes, that is indeed an exceptionally beautiful pic.  I also like this one:

And I like it too, I love it <^(
The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.
