Omg, what on earth is he doing? ;D
The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

Ooh I don't think I've seen this one before!! ??? I'm sure I'd remember if I had :d) Apart from the usual hair/eyes/scruff combination, I just love the slightly moody stare, and the arms... :d) *swoon* <^(

I love the contradiction or juxtaposition, of big bad manly machine...and bare feet.  I like men who go barefoot.  I like Jake or Heath going barefoot.

Dare I say...the friggin' brown suit again?  I bet he was really happy with whats-her-name [I'm drawing a blank] -- he always seemed to be.  As we've all said...her loss.  Though I can't exactly picture him now with her.  I picture him with someone more sophisticated, perhaps an older woman.  :*(  (No, not me -- not THAT much older!)

And BTW, help!  I'm 15 pages behind again!  I can't leave this thread for even one evening without getting hopelessly behind.
