Thanks for this great (artistic) pic Rosie.  Is that his natural color of hair ?

I would think so.  I think it's a nice warm brown, not dark brown/black as it sometimes appears.  Though his brows are a very dark brown.

Oh, this is beautiful, and I've not seen.  A very soulful look.

True, although the affection between the two appears to be genuine.  :)

I sometimes think, though, that it's mostly Maggie.  She's always the one hugging him, nice vice-versa.  He hugs her also, but it seems at her instigation.  She's always doing the older sister thing, and I guess she adores her baby brother.  He loves her, but perhaps is mostly just tolerating her hugging him.  Like, gimme a break, Mags -- you gotta do that dumbass hugging me all the time?

Just being funny, but I can see that as part of the sibling dynamic between them.

I like the way Heath bends his knees like that.  :)

In these pix, you get the opposite effect -- Heath looks much taller, because he is closer to the viewer than Jake:

I don't think Heath is that much closer to the viewer, to account for him looking taller than Jake.  Let's see, look at the third picture -- maybe those shoes of Heath's have thicker soles.  Or maybe he is taller at the shoulders, and a shorter neck, then Jake has longer neck, plus, as you say, the hair and all, so they end up looking quite close at the top of the head.  But in BBM, kissing and all, Jack had to look up every so slilghtly to meet Ennis's eyes.

I can't believe I'm sitting here talking about an inch here, an inche there...  (No, I'm not talking about those inches!  I was not even thinking about that, until your sex-obsessed minds started me thinking of that...)

Anyone wants to buy a Gyllenhaal bag?

Fascinating and weird!  Not a Maggie Gyllenhaal bag, but a Jake Gyllenhaal bag?  Of course it's a nicely non-femme bag.

This is my 10 000 post, and I wanted to post here, so thanks for everything :^^) ^f^ :ghug:

And this pic first, cos this movie started this wonderful journey <^(

And the one and only, beautiful Jake Gyllenhaal

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.
