Time for some lunch, or a walk out in the cold...  But first:

Some classic Jake:

I adore this pic....the pic itself, the contrast of them against the clear blue sky, but them - Jake and Maggie - what a wonderful brother and sister.

Yes, Esme.  I love the fact that he is an activist actor with a conscience -- and a very low key one at that!

This is probably not the place to ask this, but where do I find out more about his and his family's involvement in the ACLU?  I saw a vid of him accepting an award and he mentions the award he got from ACLU.

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

I thought she said "Thank Jake for being my best kiss" since the award was for Best Screen Kiss.
