Isn't this sweet?  I think that Jack has just handed Ennis his lighter (after Ennis's "muah?" meaning "may I borrow your lighter please?" even though we know he has his own lighter, or he had matches earlier anyway).  Ennis is studying it, before using it.  Interesting...

kathy:  Honestly, I really can't make out the words, but in the subtitles, it's "Can I?", but we all know how accurate they always are.   :)
