Heath and Jake did an amazing acting here, especially Heath.
Ennis is so shy and feel uncomfortable when he came into the tent... He was probably not expected so much delicacy and tenderness from Jack... from another man, from another human being. He doesn't understand what is happening between him and Jack, but he is attracted by him, and feels secure with him. So he allows himself to receive all that love. Ennis finally gives in to his desires... His face when he's on Jack's chest is pure rapture, pleasure and passion. You said it "all that bare emotion". Wonderful.

No need to transfer the post, you were simply discussing the pics... and I know exactly what you meant by the expression on Ennis's face when he lied on Jack's chest, that was the one I was refering to myself when I mentioned the bare emotion. Really equisite acting on Heath's part, and you described it beautifully. You have no idea how many times I re-played that scene over and over again, just for these few seconds... ;D

I love the way he touched Jack and carressed him, like he was discovering a man's body for the first time - which he was, actually. I would've loved it if he kissed his chest too...

keren . . . I'm not so sure he didn't - there's a point there where I can imagine that's whut happenin' - his left hand kinda' obscures the view while his face is nuzzling Jack's chest and it sure looks like a kiss or a lick, huh?
