Y'know, I don't think I've seen this exact still. I love the similar ones of Jack open-legged next to ennis; it's very appealing to see a slightly different angle of this. Thanks, mpj.

This is the first image I saw about BBM. It was in a important newspaper in my country, over september 2005. It was a article about the 20 films you should watch in 2006. They talked about BBM very very good!!! But I thought, who the hell are these boys?. I knew Ang and I loved his work, but I didn't wanted to see this film. Even I though, looking at this pic, that they were uglies!!!     

OMG, who had told me that BBM was gonna change my life and those boys were gonna be my everything!!! I thought that BBM was gonna be a weird boring film. My life was so different back then. I quit my boyfriend to enter in a convent, because I thought that was what I really wanted and needed it. I thought that shit like BBM was not for me. I didn't like it, I didn't understand it. But, I don't know why, I kept that article. I still have it.

Look at me now...How something like a simple love story has shaken my life...I'm not the same girl anymore. Sometimes I wonder where I'd be now if I'd never seen this pic.

I watched it just recently because I never wanted to watch it...and didn't think of the movie..after heath's death I thought, well maybe it's time to watch it and see what kind of guy he actually is.
I fell in love with the movie the very same day, and it changed my life completely.
And sometimes I wonder, where I would be now if I watched it right away.
I regret that I have never watched it earlier because I think that some things in my life had gone better or never happened at all.

Jesus, Christine!!!         I love this vertical with more light version of SNIT!!! The passion is overwhelming!!! What a breathless precious kiss!!!

I don't understand why some people said that Heath and Jake were not convincing here!!! For Christ sake!!! They kissed more passionately than I do!!!

   Why, baby? I was happy then. I believed in that...... But now I'm who I really am. Sometimes it hurts, sometimes not. But I'm so grateful I've watched BBM, and I'll always be.

Because some people go far too long before realizing who they really are. It's good to see you can laugh either way, then and/or now. 

For me the movie wasn't a realization; it's a gem that reflects my knowing love is present but may not always be. I had been feeling the balancing act of love with someone, and reading the Brokeback Mountain story was knowing that what I felt could be understood. It was a bit of a dire thing for me to show the movie to that other person. It was a big relief to do so.
But as for the movie changing peoples' lives   certainly a big cheers.

This is so beautiful Ali!! I love it, but I think Christie is right. They can be fake because I saw a lot of times Jake's signature on Thomas shirt and it's so different from this.

thanks for the story its funny how a 2 hour film can turn your whole life around im the same im a totally different person now then when i first watched the film about 2 months ago. i didnt think it would be for me to be honest i thought back then the exact thing i try to disuede people from thining now i thought it was only a film for gay men and women how ignorant i was... then again i suppose i was only 14. even later that year or the next year or something probably when i was 15 my mother told me her and my sister had seen it and it was good but they laughed when they had sex (i assume she meant FNIT looking back on that comment now it makes me angry). but even after she told me it was good and watched it on tv one day i seen a little view but none of the story i just seen Ennis walking out of jacks parents house near the end and thats it even thne i still had this notion that it was just a gay cowboy movie. it wasnt until february the 14th this year (ironically vallentines day) that i had a really bad patch of depression begin and i read about heath ledger who i had never known much about until his death and when i found out how much of  anice guy he was it made my depresssion worse. later that day i searched for sad films and surely enough BBM was there and i thought id give it a go seen as it was heath ledger film but i expected to turn it off withing 20 minutes or something. but i ended up being compleatly immersed by it and well here i am today i wouldnt have in any other way sometimes the saddnes may claw away at my heart but im in good company and that helps ;

and wow i just whent so far off-topic its unbeleivable sorry mods
