I read what the action in this scene was about....It was damn spectacular!!! Ennis and Jack taking a van out of the river like if they were firemen, but only using their horses and some ropes like real cowboys do....Wow!!!  (t) (t) (t)

I really love Jack's expression here. So light and happy.  :)

The girls in the background. I can really get that Alma Jr. is absorbing Jack's air, his feelings towards Ennis. It helps secure my belief that she in the trailer scene knew. She understood what had wrecked her father..

I'm still not getting why they deleted that scene...

While Ennis is looking (fiddling) with his watch, Jack tries to offer him his hand!  And he stays, waiting for something....

I love it too,Simone, thanks¡  :ghug:  I've always liked the last, where Ennis looks like an angry child while Jack is looking at him from head to toes while He's saying:"Nice to know you,Ennis Del Mar" as he was really meaning: "How hot are you,Ennis Del Mar,I'll try to make you mine..."  >:D

Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.

Jack smiled sad. “Yeah, Ennis. Love.” Leaned forward and kissed Ennis’s temple, whispered, “What’d you think it was, all this time?”

I love this little touch that Heath added here. Poor Ennis, probably never saw a wristwatch up close, certainly never owned one himself. Heath's actions here pick up on this awkward unfamiliarity with the way he handles and fiddles with this strange new piece of equipment.
