BEAUTIFUL pic of Brokeback she gave us in Brussels, but I don’t have it in my computer…(well, I’m begging Steffi right now to send it to me via mail).
There are lots of other awesome pics she took, but I only have a few.
This is the second camp site. I really can see the tent there and that big log in front of it. Steffi said that it felt very special to be there, like if that was a magic place. I bet it is.
This is the place where Jack died. I can’t even look at it without crying. It’s greener that it seems every time I see the film. I mean, in my heart that place feels like a desert, a dusty !@#$ road to hell, a naked plain of loneliness. And you know what? Steffi told us that this place is called Rainbow Road…Can you believe it? Ang Lee was a master and I bet he chose this place on purpose. Rainbow Road…..damn. :\'( :\'( :\'(
You all know what this is, right? Oh yes, I can see Ennis running down those stairs, so happy that his heart was about to explode, shaking, nervous as hell, with his fingers itching to touch Jack.
I’d give anything to be there. **sigh**
Even if this is a little bit changed you still can see Ennis and Cassie there...
Steffi got several gifts from a member of the BBM german forum. One of those beautiful gifts was this: a map which shows the way Jack drove from Childress to Riverton!! I must be the most stupid weak girl ever because I almost cried when I saw the map.....
Oh Jack.... :\'( :\'( :\'( He drove all of that immense distance just to be with Ennis. God....that's so heartbreaking. Just look at that. I'm still stunned and wanting to cry.
