The counter seems to prohibit more voting per person druing a period of between 1 to 2 minutes. It makes voting cumbersome, but we can do it if we spread out voting during the day...

I got it to change. Jake is now 37%.

Take the total and compute the number of votes Jakes need for the next level.

Currently, Jake has (0.37 * 8591) = 3179 votes out of a total of 8591 votes. If we give him 150 more, we will get him to (3179 + 150)/(8591 + 150) = 38 %!

So keep on voting, but spread out your votes for the entire day.

Don't worry Mars, if we keep on doing this, the number of votes we need to increase Jake's percentage will get smaller. And we have the advantage of surprise: nobody seems to be voting. Is the poll finished? So long as it is working and there is activity, it's NOT!
