Hmmm trying to see if there's a price tag on that rod  :s) Maybe they did go sometimes, from my own experience fishing with someone you're close to can be very bonding. It is so relaxing and opens up the way for some good conversation. Some times you might not catch a darn thing but reap other benefits from the experience.

I can't believe I only just found this thread.

And I agree with all the cutest and sexiest scenes.  :)

I haven't read all the posts yet, but did anyone mention the way Ennis talks to his horse...tsk,tsk, to get it moving?

That's sexy.

And of course, the cute meter broke when he looks up to Jack and says "wat?" after saying all 'em words more than in a year... <^(

Ooh, what a great topic!

Oh lawd, but a hard one as there are SOOO many of both cute and sexy Ennis scenes.  Hell, he's a cute and sexy guy!  The instances are many and varied...

But I'll take a shot anyways... Here are a few that stand out in my mind:

CUTE:

-The smile he gives when his Jack finally arrives for the reunion...  Melts.  My.  Heart.

-"You may be a sinner, but I ain't yet had the opportunity"  The LOOK on that adorable face, the smirk! Oh lawdy, it KILLS me every time.

-The hat-over-crotch entering of the tent was so incredibly sweet, as was his wordless kneeling before Jack, prior to "I swear".

-"Hell, that's more words than I spoke in a year"  Again, the expression, the smile.

-Him finally relaxing into Jack in the SNIT, laying on his chest. So sweet


SEXY:

- Any scene with Ennis on horseback...dang, that man is one hot horseman, so relaxed and slouchy.  HOT.

-The scene with Alma behind him on the bed...nothing to do with them as a couple, but rather him in a white wife-beater and PJ bottoms, and the sexy, tired look on his face...hot damn, that scene is cold shower inducing for me!  And the way his sexy voice is going "mmm" in a deep purr.  Ow!

- First night in tent, fighting off Jack, then proceeding to roughly have his way with him in the next instant.  That is incredibly hot.

-This is technically a Jack and Ennis sexy scene, but the one after SNIT where they run around topless and playfully wrestling...that is really sexy!  How could it not be -- two hot topless cowboys getting playful with each other??  If I was Aguirre spying with my binoculars, I'd sure as heck have lingered around MUCH longer!!!  Teehee.   ;D

-His post-coital cigarette-smoking in the motel...now I usually am averse to smoking but come on, that is just hot. 


Okay that should do...for now.  Haha.  I'll definitely be back with more.

Can't believe I left out Ennis at his sweetest/cutest....that special, special reflection of Jack's all those years ago when he was falling asleep on his feet like a horse and Ennis so, so tenderly hugged him from behind.  Awwwwwwww.  Without fail, that scene will melt my heart like water melts Dorothy's wicked witch.   <^(   <^(   <^(   <^(

Yes, it's hard to name a scene where he WAS"NT sexy or cute, but I like in the beginning when Jack makes introductions and Ennis is looking down fiddling with the watch, then says "Del Mar" and shakes Jack's hand, the first real eye to eye contact.
 Then asks Jack to use his lighter... "Can I"... Yes, Yes you most certainly CAN!!!! MMMM!

 Any scene on the horse of course, and when he's OLDER. Yummmm..

wow, that's a nice topic
i'm going to drool all over the place, lol
so here i go, naughty me :)

CUTE :

- the roll of his tongue in his mouth as he starts opening up to jack for the first time, then of course that damn "what" (AWW), and that damn "hell, that's the most i've spoken in a year" (THUD THUD THUD), and then the way that he seems that he just CAN'T stop talking more, and more, and more ... DAMN that whole scene is a jewel !!!

- TENT DON'T LOOK RIGHT. i know it could be just ennis being his usual perfectionist, but i can't help but feel that there's more here each time i hear it ... i mean, he isn't even sleeping in it anymore ... thud !

- the whole SNIT scene. he's just so ... vulnerable. needy (mentally). happy sigh.

- that damn huge tender smile on his face as he jokes and looks at jack when they go back to camp after having the sheeps sorted out ... gets me dreamy any time !!!!!!

- the way he always tucks his shirt in his back, "checking the fences, closing the gate" whatever, totally ennis in my mind.

- the anxiety before the reunion scene, and the relief/joy/everything which gets on his face when he realise that jack arrived ... AAWW

- for a silly reason, "earlier today i was castrating calves" to cassie. get to me each time.

SEXY:

- ennis on his horse. can't extend here, my keyboard is suddenly full of drool ... THUD THUD THUD

- ennis talking. no matter what he says, it's just hotness dripping out. low sexy rumbling, damn. HOT IN HERE :)

- the whole reunion kiss scene. THUD. who doesn't want to be kissed like that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- the scene with alma, all tired and in that damn perfectly cut basic shirt and his closed eyes and his lost voice and OMG i need a cold shower NOW !!!

now i have to go and read all the ones posted before, i'm sure i forgot a lot of my favorites moments ... but well, when i start thinking about the reunion kiss or about ennis talking while on his horse in that t shirt and with closed eyes ... my mind just freeze and get short circuited, i can't think further anymore !!!

Well having just watched the film yet again (was on Brit TV tonight), I'm all fresh with cute and sexy scenes in mind ( and because of this I cannot sleep, so had to get up and come and visit my favourite site!):

CUTE:
First time he dances with Cassie, the back of his neck, with his hair sticking out the bottom of his hat, just looks so damn cute, I just want to reach out and touch it.

SNIT - those gorgeous vulnerable looks at Jack, and then down, and then back at Jack again, before giving in to his feelings - Oh me oh my!!

The "girls don't fall in love with fun, Ennis" cafe scene with Cassie, there's a moment when he looks up at her with such a sad and vulnerable look in his eyes, and actually I'm not sure it's cute, more heartbreaking, but I just love his little face there.

That adorable smile he gives Jack after Jack has told him about the "thing" he has going with the Ranchman's wife, and that he's gonna get shot by Laureen....

Running after the mules after the bear incident.
 
SEXY: 
Reunion kiss scene, when he takes a hold of Jack and murmurs "come here" before he pushes him up against the wall - WOW!  And then at the end of the kiss, when they nuzzle and he says "Later" - what a promise!!

Waiting at the window for Jack to arrive with the cigarette hanging from his lips.

All sweaty laying the tarmac road!

I could go on, but I'm getting myself over-excited and it's very late and I need to be calming down so I can get some sleep tonight.
