I love the way Jack caresses Ennis on his face after Ennis tells that they cant live togtehr..When Jack recommend them to live togther he disclosed his dreams and Ennis was too scared to go ahead..Ennis knew how vulnerable he gets when he is around Jack and how the society is and that they could get killed and so he felt that it was better not live together..Jack must have felt so rejected but still he consoles Ennis and touches his face which meant "I understand and I love u"

Yes, and those little Jack's gestures shows how great his love and affection was. I love Jack for that!

same here..he is so warm yet passionate..i love that combination...I simply love the way he stares at Ennis..it can be a stare which has a smile when Jack tells Ennis that that is the most he spoke in 2 weeks or a stare at the Dozy Embrace scene after holding Jack Ennis goes to ride the horse and Jack looks behind and stares at Ennis while he is riding the horse..so sexy and cute for me...aww...love him

I already spoke of Jack's open eyes expressing his love. What I found as Jake/Jack's peak of his character was how in some situation, when he wants to hide his emotions, he put his head down. The hat covers his face and he's safe from exposing himself completely.

He does it even when no one looks, because he is obviously aware of his honesty and sincerity, and it's that way that he protect himself form the world.

1. after FNIT, when Ennis comes and says: "this is only one time ....", Jack just put his head down to reply: "Nobodies business but ours." No one is there to watch, but his feelings are all around and he needs to hide them.

2. When he ask Ennis if he would come again next year to Brokeback before they depart, his eyes are so vulnerable that he has to put his head down, knowing that he's already been too open to Ennis.

3. After the reunion kiss, he's trying to be polite with Alma, speaks some words about his wife and son, but also can not bear the closeness of Ennis's body, so he just put his head down.

I think that there are also some other scenes, but these 3 I remember the most.

OMG Loreen... all the scenes u mentioned r so impactful.The 1st scene u mentioned is so subtle but so strong ...Jack is trying hard to be clam but its so obvious of what all he is going through...

I just watched the movie again

- Jack was also hiding his eyes in the scene where Ennis was late after his horse was scared by a bear, and his head was hurt. Jack took his scarf of and tried to clean Ennis's wound. As Ennis moves away his head, Jack put his head down, frightened that his feelings are far to obvious.

During the FC, he keeps his head as if his neck become shorter, but doesn't look down. He is bitter, disappointed, angry, nor trying to hide anything. The purest feeling he had was hurt so many times. He became bulletproof! Does he still have a patience for Ennis? Yes! But no patience for himself anymore.

And one other thing I've notice - Lureen sounded so disappointed and sad after Ennis told her that Jack's favorite place was the mountain where two of them had cowboyed together one summer. After spend so many years with jack, she knew so little about him, and was surely not satisfied for Jack's decision, to be scattered on some place she wasn't even a part of. She sounded a bit angry when she told Ennis to go to see Jack's parents. Surely wasn't easy neither for her or Alma!

And God knows it isn't for me either! :\'( :\'( :\'(

The 1st scene u mentioned of Jack putting his head down when Ennis was hurt is very evident..Even Ennis was getting conscious and took the cloth away from jack and tried cleaning his wound himself..The electricity was both ways and Ennis took the cloth away and jack put his head down...its so cute and innocent...
The other scenes u mentioned also were great...

I know... That part was so sad... I think we all could feel the sudden sense of pain or hurt in Jack's heart when Ennis took the scarf from Jack. :\'(

I also love Jack's voice during this scene - such a contrast between "Where the hell you been?" and then such soft, loving concern: "What in hell happened, Ennis?" You can practically feel the love Jack feels just then - like he's thinking, "Oh God, my darlin could have been hurt badly, or even killed, and here I am bitchin about beans!" Such a beautiful scene. And you just wish Jack could have kept cleaning Ennis' wound and bandaged him, then taken him into his arms. I'm sure that's what Jack wanted to do.

I am not exactly sure when was the moment when Jack knew that he's attracted to Ennis... But in that scene, he was alreday all over Ennis. So gentle, like a mother that Ennis lost too early.

Jack usually "speaks" a nonverbal language that one can read so beautifully in his face and gestures. I think the cutest and sexiest scenes show this ability very well. But the eyes are the most effective in bringing out this nonverbal expressiveness.

I think the expressiveness in Jack's and Ennis's eyes are noteworthy.

Heath's Ennis squints to give us a peak of his guarded, conflicted nature.

Jake's Jack is all wide-eyed to give us an expression of wonder and emotiveness.

I agree. That was really a sweet gesture. I think it also caught Ennis off guard. It certainly was an attemp to reach out and express a deep affection. Very cute and sexy.

Though things remained largely unchanged, it was lovely to see Ennis so moved.

I was thinking today why is that Ennis was so eager to preserve his marriage and to live a normal life, but finally lost all. Jack was ready to leave his family in a second, but kept his marriage successfully. I don't get it! Maybe it was because Ennis knew that his family is the main reason why he can not be with Jack, and he unknowingly blamed Alma and his normal standard life (maybe even girls??) for that!

Jack's marriage was an easy thing to deal with. Knowing that he could leave any time, Jack didn't take any pressure from the marriage.

Any idea from others??

FNIT was more aggressive and sexual, but the SNIT made us more tremble. The closeness they achieve there was (as you said) KILLER!

), and for the first time I heard Jack said "Come on...", inviting Ennis to come closer before their lips touched for the first time..... That part of the scene is so alluring and deep, that I feel like I'm sublimating in that tent, disappearing in their emotions, and live those feelings like they're my own.

OMG, what have they ever done to me? How comes I feel them as my own flesh and blood?

Jack could do this to Ennis. I think Jack had at least this power over him. It is at these moments when Ennis trusts Jack that Jack's character is most beautiful.

I didn't hear Ennis say anything, even I tried to folow his lips movement all the time.

Jack, after putting Ennis's hat away and touching his face, says in peacefully but highly sexualy exiceted way: "Come on!", and pull Ennis's head closer to kiss him. After he kissed him (

and that was for me the sexiest part of all!) he says 3 times: "It,s all right!" pulling Ennis down and comforting him to relax completely before make love.

I have heard the "Sorry " and "its alright" but I have not yet heard the "Come on"..Actually I have watched the film online and the volume clarity will not be as good as the DVD...The DVD is not available where I live...The movie dint even get released here...so people r not aware about BBM..few people like me r aware due to the internet and have watched the film online...some have got the DVD from another country...I have not been to a country where it is available so I could not buy it yet...A Brokie is trying to help me out...Some day when I will watch the DVD, I am sure I will be able to figure that out better...But for now I hope when I watch it online I am able to hear it..

I just did not hear that "Sorry". Even it was translated. But the very low voice of "come on" just before they kiss, I am 100% sure of it. Jack's lips move together with the sound heard! 100%... and those words make me so tremlbe, as I once already said - like I was invited myself!
