I noted that Heath and Michelle were in attendance in this year's Independent Spirit Awards.  I can't see a number of the pictures posted recently, so I am not sure if pictures of them in this event were already posted.  If not, I would be grateful if others could also post any pix from this event.  :)

I found a few.  :)

I first saw this just today, elsewhere, a pic of Heath and Michelle.  I had wondered if he, she or they would be at ISA last week.

Well, I totally, totally adore her short, short hair!  I love short hair on women, generally speaking.  She is just cute as can be.  And a different statement than the ho-hum long-blonde-thing.  It's a funny look, though, with this dress, which looks like something I would have made at home in 1972 or so.  Anyway, adorable, she is.  And adorable, he is; and adorable, they are together.  I hope they are still very happy.

I know nothing about her movie, will have to look it up.  Not to mention the Bob Dylan movie, I forget the name right now.

I like the way his legs cross!

I've always loved this pic -- love his "courtly" look, love how he looks like he's dancing, very suavely, and "presenting" her.  Reminds me of Casanova.

Well maybe the 'stache wouldn't be so bad if the hair wasn't such a mess. Looks like he's wearing a bloody toupee. One or the other I can maybe take but both? Yick. Michelle does look like a Mommy doesn't she? I know so many women who cut their hair a few years after having a baby. She does look fantastic, maybe a bit skinnier than what we're used to.

I like his facial hair myself, just fine.  I love a moustache and small goatee, and I like it on him.  Yes, his hair's kind of a mess, but then it frequently has been.  He can wear his hair however he wants to, as far as I'm concerned.  So smiles, you like it best shaved very short?  I actually like that also.

And I already said I love Michelle's hair.  I don't see a mommy, as much as I see a retro-mod-60's-model, Twiggy style, whatever.  (And yes, she is almost "too" thin I think...)  But as for mommiess cutting their hair, yes -- too much in the way, long hair, and caring for it.

Something about his look in that film that is delicious.  keren, you should see it somehow, if just to appreciate Heath:

The Order is maybe my favorite Heath look also.  Of the movies I've seen.  I like some of the earlier looks (Two Hands), but you know me -- my preference is for "older" rather than teen.    But wait, what am I saying?  Ennis is totally my real favorite, though, no doubt about it.  Yep.  Sure 'nough.

You know kathy, I also love her short hair in the ISA pix.  It is a wonderful counterpoint to Heath's longer hair.  :)

I didn't watch the ISA.  But someone who did may know why they were there.  Perhaps CANDY was up for an award?  Or I seemed to have read somewhere (not sure) that Michelle was up for one?

Wow -- I love this picture.  He looks healthy and happy, his hair is perfect...and the facial-hair naysayers will like it, too.

Hmm not much into the shaved hair, Kath, I just like it looking neat. I loved his longer hair look at the TIFF last fall but I do prefer the Ennis style the best. Also, not too fond of any facial hair on anyone unless it's very close cropped or maybe that stubble-sexy ... that's very yummy.

Smiles, how about this?  Forget the sneer...but I like this level of stylish messiness of hair, and the facial hair is nice and close, too.  You like?

I'm a Jake girl but when I saw this picture I almost switched teams!  :d) (It's probably been posted here already but it's really yummy!)

I'm already on Team Ennis (while riding the JLT too)...but yes, this is like extremely nice!

It was 2004 but just before they filmed BBM.  They split up just before he starting filming.  :\'(

(I'm catching up from way back as you see.)

So, not much time between Naomi and Michelle then.  I wonder if he's the type who always wanted to be with someone, so he didn't let no grass grow under his feet.

Nice pic!  I hadn't seen this.  I love his hand there -- protectively, it seems.  Though I can't quite imagine what exactly was going on.

I'm looking at the clip on youtube, when Heath was on Conan, but here's this first :)

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

Would this be perhaps his sister and her kids?  Uncle Heath -- how sweet.

It's from a TV series, no?  I forgot just now which one it was...
